On the Tseung Kwan O – Lam Tin Tunnel works, concrete had to be placed around marine piles above the water. We designed a set of formwork platforms that hang from the piles on steel beams. Each platform carries its own working deck, hinged curved formwork panels and edge protection, and can be lowered into position, opened, struck and moved to the next pile.
